DOT Drug Testing

DOT drug testingThe Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991 requires drug and alcohol testing of safety-sensitive transportation employees in aviation, trucking, railroads, mass transit, pipelines, and other transportation industries.

Our on-site collection service is convenient, accurate and budget friendly. Our collectors are all Department of Transportation (DOT) certified collectors and follow DOT protocol and guidelines in all on-site testing environments.

Our laboratories are certified by the Department of Health and Human Services to receive urine specimens and test them to determine the presence of drugs. They also conduct validity testing to determine if the specimen has been adulterated or substituted.

According to the Department of Transportation, a laboratory located in the U.S. is only permitted to participate in DOT drug testing only if it is certified by HHS under the National Laboratory Certification Program (NLCP).
